inspiration if you are guessing that it is sunset or sunrise in Florida ...you are right. For me color is the fundamental ingredient. Neon and bright colors like magenta, orange or purple fascinate me, warm, bold, bright is the center of my attention at this moment. I keep my interior pretty neutral and minimal, and pop of color comes from my paintings. Bright color gives me more positive energy and excitement, however I always look for a balance. There is always a direct connection between colors, compositions, marks and gestures of a painting and my emotional state of mind while I’m working on it. |
